Signs by the Department of Transportation
As I travelled by car to Thetford Mines in Québec, it occurred to me while watching the various signs that the Department of Transportation has installed on the roadside, there was something strange in the logical interpretation of these panels.
No reduction of speed
While the Department of Transportation advises motorists to watch out for deer ( high risk) for several miles, he did not notify motorists to reduce their speed. Rather, the panel indicates the maximum speed limit a motorist can drive.
Don't you find it strange that the Department of Transportation, does not advise motorists to reduce their speed in the danger zone ahead, instead of indicating the maximum speed limit ?
