Deer dealing with fences

Under the fence

In our spring scoutings, we as bowhunters have often seen deer tracks such as these. Deer can go through fences if they can find a way.

 

In this particular case the deer went under the fence. The gap under the fence is 30 cm (12 inches) wide.


As you can see these are the tracks the deer left behind on this side of the fence. If you look carefully at the pirst picture, you will see the tracks the deer left in the fine gravel on the other side.
